Please be advised that Friday, January 30, 2026, will be a half day for students in Irwin County Schools. ICHS will be hosting a wrestling tournament that day, with more than 10 visiting teams on campus around noon.
For logistical & safety reasons and to allow us to properly host the event, students will be released early.
ICES will release at 11:30 AM.
ICMS/ICHS will release at 11:45 AM.
Mark your calendars for ICMS/ICHS Open House on Thursday, Jan 15th.
Students are set to return to school tomorrow, January 7th. As a reminder, ICSS places extra emphasis on attendance, as every day of instruction matters.
However, if your child is sick, please keep them at home. The flu is currently widespread across Georgia, and we want to help keep all students and staff healthy.

Mrs. Carter’s 9th grade Physical Science classes are working hard to wrap up their energy-focused projects! Students are exploring how energy is transferred and transformed while working collaboratively to design, test, and refine their ideas. Finished Projects -- Coming Soon!
