The Irwin County School System is excited to announce the implementation of new safety measures to ensure the safety of all students, staff, and stakeholders. To increase safety, Irwin County Schools will now have a system-wide safety administrator, Mr. Justin Willingham. Mr. Willingham will ensure safety measures are implemented daily at all of the school system’s locations and facilities. He will also work with the School Resource Officers at each school. Officer Trey Thomas is located at the elementary school and Officer Bill Barrs is located at the high school and middle school.
Mr. Willingham has an extensive background in law enforcement and in education. Congratulations to Mr. Willingham!
