E-Sports State Playoffs Begin
After finishing the regular season 21-1, the ICHS E-Sports team Abstract continued their winning streak Thursday with another 3-0 sweep of West Forsyth, bringing them to 24-1 on the season and advancing them to the next round.
The best of five series against West Forsyth was over in three rounds, with Abstract coming out ahead in all three rounds.
Chris Richardson, Ethan Tucker, and JC Watson are excited to continue their run in the playoffs. They will be facing the Brookstone Cougars on Thursday, January 16, at 4 PM. FCCLA at Georgia National Fair
President Raven Dillard, Secretary Kassidy Snipes, and Reporter Cassidy Green preparing the fair booth for FCCLA Fall Rally at the Georgia National Fair. Competitions will be held on October 9 at the fairgrounds in Perry.

Work-Based Learning coordinators from the Georgia Southwest Region met in Irwin County on Tuesday, September 3, at the Irwin County High School CASE Farm. Hosting were WBL coordinators Denise Hamby and Shayla Johnson from ICHS, Sara Stuart of Fitzgerald High, and Sharon Lavender from Wilcox County High.
Hal Wiley, CEO of Fitzgerald High School College and Career Academy (FHSCCA), was the keynote speaker.
Wesley Paulk gave the region coordinators a tour of the Case Farm and Darrell Ross invited them to tour Osceola Cotton Gin Company. Irwin EMC provided cell phone Pop Sockets, card holders, and key chains for all attending as well as providing the luncheon prepared and delivered by Irwin’s own Lyndsey Phillips, owner of Our Daily Bread.
